First Entry

Dear Alice,

I am very excited to once again have a journal that I do not have to physically write, I know first world problems right? I have to give a shout out to my dear friend blackroses89 for getting me back into this gig. It's crazy because my therapist was just mentioning to me about journaling once again...odd. I woke up an old love, and that was for photoshop an icon making! It was by dear Ash's request that caused me to even open the rusty old program. 

My Grell icon was made within 30 minutes of relearning some of the tricks in the program, I love it and pretty proud of it, so thank you Ash for your request! I will be doing a lot of poking around on this site so that I may be able to make more layouts like I once loved to do.

Now about me:

• I am a military wife
• A dog and bearded dragon mom (Geno is 13, Crosby is 11, Davie is 4)
• I love to crochet, read, travel, paint, watch anime, read manga, hockey, color, have fires and anything that deals with water.
• I'm currently living out of my birth state and experiencing so many different things
• I am a fighter of 4 autoimmune disorders (Hashimoto's, Hypothyroidism, PCOS, Gluten Intolerant)
• I am a spoonie and try very hard to listen to my body when it's telling me it's had enough
• I am currently in therapy due to my brother overdosing on heroine last May...I hated myself for so long, between my MDD, GAD and everything else, his death was the straw that broke my back. One of my own generation, GONE. It's chilling and unfathomable...but I'm persevering, that's the only thing I can do.
• My Husband and I are currently ttc so there will be posts about that

Welcome as well! You’ll quickly get used to it, although I’m a bit rusty since I’m just starting to get back into it. I’m sorry about your brother but that is a subject that I sadly know all too well about.

You're so right Nebbs, it's like riding a weird bike man! So similar and yet so different from LJ. But I had so many bad memories with "the bitch" on LJ I needed a change.
Awe Nebbs I'm so sorry you've had to deal with this heartache as well...it sucks ASS :'(
